I agree 100% so many simple functions missing from this device. The email
application as well as the messaging application are both a huge disgrace.
This device had such an opportunity to blow away other phones like it but
fell short on some of the most simplistic features. Honestly quite
frustrating....

Did google actually pay someone to write the email app, or was it
written by a student intern?
I've used a lot of email apps, and this is the most pathetic attempt
I've ever seen.

I love my G1, but cannot use it for email as it lacks the most basic
functions such as the ability to select multiple emails for deletion,
and an "empty trash" function.

I work in film and TV, and this would be the equivalant of delivering
a mono mix for na 5.1 movie.
I'd get fired, and would have to find q new line of work.
If Google wants Android to succeed they better make sure that the
basic necessuities are top notch.

And they guy who made the feeble attempt at writing the email app
should be demoted to the Google valet parking
