Is your phone a SFR Magic with untouched ROM (well... just updated OTA
to CRC1) ?
Mine is and indeed looks like there is no voice recognition API in ... :-(

I read elsewhere you switched to english locale. Does this modify
voice API availability in your phone ?
(note that mine have some english locales available [UK, IR,...] but
not english-US)

Would be interesting to boot with root access to compare presence of
voice recognition libs.
