Hi,

Will the platform one day support an Open VG type layer between the
existing graphics API and OpenGL ES?

What are peoples thoughts on having a completely  vector graphics UI
on Android?

What do people think of the current Android openGL support?  Does it
mix well/seemlessly with the rasterized API?  From my limited
experimentation, I dont think it does.

It probably wont be supported, as rendering svgs would dramatically
slow down the system.

Hi.

Pardon my ignornace, but why?  Im assuming you would only use an SVG
option if your hardware supported it.i.e. openVG?

  Doesnt limiting the platform to rasterzed graphcs and kind of
limited support for openGL (not well integrated with the rest of the
grahpics system)  kind of put it behind the 8ball from the start?
