Subject: Calling all Delhi/NCR based developers - Launch of GDG Delhi Android

*TL;DR: This is to invite all Delhi/NCR based developers to join GDG Delhi
Android. To keep track of our updates, add our page<https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/109393498996038877892/10939349899603887...> to
your circles on Google+. Our first event is on August 3rd at Google Gurgaon.

We're extremely pleased to announce the launch of the GDG Delhi Android. As
everyone knows, Android is by far the hottest mobile OS in terms of both
developer and user interest in India. And as the community grows, we
believe it's time to create a platform that would bring all of us together.

There are several objectives for the creation of the Group. The first is to
create a forum for the exchange of knowledge and information, and to help
the growth of the platform in developer circles. The second is to assist
our members in enhancing their skill sets during our events by focussing on
more advanced topics of the OS, and also to assist them in topics outside
of the development of the app itself, such as publicity, marketing and
monetization. Most importantly, it's to have fun together working on crazy
hacks.

One more interesting aspect we are working on is to develop a channel of
communication between experienced developers and recruiters who have shown
a great deal of interest over the past year in the platform. A formal
community like the Group, which has the backing of Google, will have the
attention all entities, big or small.

Lastly, we would like to thank Google for their support to help the
community grow in our region. I would also like to thank the Bangalore
Android Users Group, the largest Android Users Group outside of the US,
 for their continuing guidance.
