It seems a lot of questions on the forum right now are duplicates of existing questions and it's beginning to be difficult to pinpoint interesting posts. Would people would be interested by contributing to a WIKI ? My focus right now is what's going on under the hood and native development but i guess every bit of information is good.
If enough people thinks it's a good idea, a WIKI can be created easily.

I'm up for a wiki. I could stand a centralized resource -- since the
forum is definitely too unmanageable right now. Plus, it'd be nice to
expand / document some of the APIs in a little more detail.

has been setup for exactly this purpose. a number of the more experienced developers have been invited to assist moderate this wiki (me included); which is in my opinion probably the best way to handle things.
a lot of disucssions on the forum are very newbie based; and people dont seem to be able to search for their questions :) a lot of noise; but there is also a lot of great information that can be pushed into a wiki as it comes in.
i would prefer to see a community work together a single wiki rather than setting up a million wikis. i like the philosphy of the android-internals website; and it will be the only one i intend to contribute to.

before posting any Q to the groups, if people can search the earlier posts..that would be get.. because almost 50 to 60% of Qs might have been answered already..

It is being seeded with API classes and documentation with a comments
system, much like those available on php.net. If you have a problem or
are hoping to see an example re: a certain class, often times these
are available right below the documentation.
In addition, hardware hackers on our forums who are trying to get
Android onto physical devices have signed on to help develop the wiki.
Help us get this started this weekend--a better structure and media
resources will be added tomorrow.
Cheers,
Brian Jordan

In my opinion the last thing we need is to have YET ANOTHER wiki/
forum. Is http://www.android-internals.org hosted by a free server
(like WIKIA) or on your own server Aaron Ardiri ?
If that's on a free server I intend to contribute to it.

OHAdev transferred from our original dedicated server to to
nearlyfreespeech.NET -- an OSS-friendly virtual hosting service
provider that is known for surviving full slashdottings with no
slowdowns or (major) expenses. MediaWiki is running really fast on it
and my three brothers and I will be fleshing the OHA wiki out with SDK
information and tutorials all this weekend.
The site will be up for an infinite-approachingly long time and we'll
be making new content for it until the Open Handset Alliance disbands
to a triumphant soundtrack because all phones are open platformed.
Then we'll be busy with the 3dMagicPhone wiki.
Cheers,
Brian

I looked at the 3 listed wikis and like androidwiki.com the most
because it seems to be the most developed, so I made my account there.
android-internals.org doesn't use the GNU Free Documentation License,
as a matter of fact they don't specify any sort of license for the
contents, and ohawiki.com seems to be new and straight out of the box,
so I don't know about them.

Thanks for pointing that out - The android-internals.org mediawiki installation has been updated to show that it uses the GNU Free Documentation License.
