Dear all,

In my app uses remote database to get the values to the mobile . in  my
database(site1 ) contain more than 2 lakh users. when i start my app in
mobile the cpu usage of the remote site reaches above 100% and finally the
site hangs  and stop the app. in my app i am using gps location and number
of http requests. if any suggest me that what is the reason behind this

Sounds like a server problem that is unrelated to anything happening in
Android. I'd start there.

but running the same app of iphone does not cause the cpu usage . is it an
error of api ?

I would definitely check your SQL.

You're probably doing a JOIN between two humongous tables.

we have used  select query to get the data from server and we have
optimized the query. if it like OIN between two humongous tables will
defenitly cause an issue in iphone ?

A simple test would be to monitor the traffic coming out of the Android
version by checking the logs for that site. That would have been the first
thing I would have done.
