Gastropathy and Gphone
So today has been rather bitter sweet...

Probably more bitter than sweet. In the morning I drove to Parramatta, again, to get my new phone. I drove there yesterday to buy the phone, but I grossly underestimated traffic conditions and ended up getting to Parramatta about 20 minutes after the store closed, when I predicted I would get there 15 minutes before. Epic traffic fail... I did however, take that opportunity to pick up a friend in Parramatta and then pick up a 16gb MicroSD card. We eventually made it to the Duke of Gloucester to gorge ourselves on steak and wedges. It was there I probably overdid it... After we all went to Parramatta ate some brownies then had more desert at City Extra. Me thinks that's the thing?

So today I got my new HTC Magic also known as the G2 or what I like to call the Gphone. I then headed to a friends house, but due to stupid traffic, AGAIN! I was rather late. In the car I felt rather sick and at my friends house. Needless to say I got rather sick.

So eventually I went to the bathroom, and was able to make myself burp by swallowing air. Eventually my body convulsed and I was throwing up rather intensely. It is amazing just how wide your mouth gets...

I basically retasted everything I had eaten the previous night. It was like one of those chunky soups you see advertised, except pink, and slightly less appetising... I proceeded to take another round at throwing up and got some more volume out. I tried a third round, seeing the toilet bowl as an old friend, but failed to bring anything up. I ate some food and proceeded to feel terrible.

It is in cases like this where I feel my understanding of the body from a Chemical Engineering perspective kind of helps. The body is just a mass balance. So Mass in = Mass out - Accumulation. Now, we get rid of mass through many ways during normal activity, so when you eat, the idea is to accumulate the nutrients etc. However, what was happening with me was that the food was getting trapped in my stomach, not being let into the bowels. This caused a number of problems since I was not able to process any food, so I got rather lethargic etc. When I got home, I managed to expell my contents a third and a fourth time. After that, I had some rather disgusting Sprite Zero to basically force whatever was left in my stomach into my bowels so it could be expelled that way. I now have had a banana and I feel kind of ok, hopefully it is travelling down my intestinal tract...

Oh, I have been having some rather disgusting burps. It tastes like soda water, but strange. Like a hint of rotting... I still kind of get them. I hope that is just the gas that needs to be separated...

But enough disgusting gory detail (it wasn't really...) my new Gphone is hella cool!

It is like sexy and awesome. Within minutes of turning it on, I was logged into Gmail and received two emails. It then automatically set the date and time for itself! <3

Some might say what's the difference between this and an iPhone? Why is it better? Well iPhone like integrates itself with Mac stuff. But the Gphone integrates with Google stuff. That's like a billion times better!

Take that Mac!

(I'm disappointed with this post...)
