Geocast - map based file storage/sharing app - http://code.google.com/p/android-geocast/

I am not really surprised that my entry didn't win. I figure out of
any 100 programmers, I am in the top 20, so google would need to have
358 prize positions for me to win for sure.

Another looser here. Feeling much less "sore" after learned Duo did
win either. Still hat off to the Duo's creators. It's revolutionary.

+1 loser.

gFlea, a peer-to-peer LBS-based hierarchical flea market that was wished to
let eBay/Craglist cry at the least cost but right now makes me die with the
most efforts.......................:-( ......hahaaa....... :-)

Congratulations to the 50 ADC toppers, as well as to all the others who have
together explored a new world of software development for months. Even you
are losers, you are all braves!!!

Sincerely,
Peter

i won the "we regret to inform you" email. awesome.

i still think it was totally worth it. the journey itself means a lot.
and i think it feels good to know that you were among a few of those
who rose to the challenge and pushed it all the way to actually submit
something at least somewhat resembling a phone application. setting
those cornerstones and actually making it on time has some value to
it. congratulations to all the participants. best luck with further
ventures.

my submission: !snag it (http://thesnagit.com/). videos are horrible
(made 'em at 3 a.m. in the morning to make it on time). probably
should have found a bunch of passionate developers to team up with.
still have tons of ideas regarding the app that were not implemented.
will definitely push it further.

Also, nice to see that the *.METER culture gets popular on this
group.

Regards,

Philip

DUBwise ( http://www.mikrokopter.de/ucwiki/en/DUBwise ) wasn't one of
the top 50 too. I don't really wonder about that because i'm 99,9%
sure that no judge had the equipment to test this App ,-)
But i will continue! I'ts an Open-Source Project & I never earned
( or wanted to earn) money with the J2ME Version with which I started
with - but I'ts so useful to UFO-Pilots ( even if this is a small
crowd at this moment) - and so cool doing things no one did before
( e.g. Piloting "flying Objects" with a mobile Phone ;-)

Congratulations to all the Phase1-Winners & Good luck in Phase2 !
