I hope you all are fine with me posting this as I am not necessarily adding a post concerning the proper way to teach ancient Greek. However, I am looking for more people to communicate with based on the fact that I know very few people in the world who speak ancient Greek. I use the pronunciation set forth by Σαυλος in his pronouncing Koine Greek post from 12/29/20. I prefer to talk with people using this pronunciation because I have entered chat rooms with the more common Erasmian pronunciation and generally fail to comprehend what is said (No shot against Erasmian; it is certainly a beneficial pronunciation to those who use it.)
If you desire, I would be pleased to speak concerning matters of daily life, or simply discuss ancient texts (I prefer discussing the First (i.e. "Old") and New Testament texts mainly because I am a Christian of Reformed persuasion and find them to be life-giving personally and God-glorifying as their ultimate aim, which is my greatest delight in life). However, I would be willing to discuss other texts if you were exceedingly keen on doing so.
All the best,
Sawyer Moranville
