Mayor Grays's Town Hall in 24 Hours: Worried About Funding for Education and Affordable Housing? 
  Good Afternoon Ward 6! Mayor Gray is about 24 hours away from presenting his budget proposal to Ward 6, and he wants you to be there! Within his proposed budget (which you can find by going to budget.dc.gov) contains his plan for funding education and housing. Many people are excited for the renovation of Stuart-Hobson and the opportunities that will exist with the new Rosedale library while others are concerned for Amidon-Bowen ES and the plan for Van Ness ES. You gotta fight for your right to party! (later?) -- Ward 6 Budget Town Hall Reminder -- 
  Good Afternoon Ward 6! We are less than a week away from Mayor Gray's Ward 6 budget town hall meeting. One proposal that is included would extend the hours in which you can purchase alcoholic beverages. This would result in an additional $5.3 Million to the budget. People think this is good for business while others would not like to deal with the noise and other byproducts of extended hours. What are your thoughts? Mayor Gray would like to know!
