I cannot get the site overlay in IE 6, 7 or Firefox 3. I get the same
thing and it was working fine yesterday. I get the same error as
Stock5. Does anyone know if Google is aware/
Thanks
Tina
I am having the same problem - Oct 22 2008, It's not a "clear your
cookies" problem, its a legitimate issue - I believe someone at google
broke something ;p

Yep, I'm not able to access overlay today either. Noticed a slight
style change in Analytics, may not be new as of today but it's
definitely new in the past week or so...
Thanks for chiming in on this thread. Our technical team is currently
aware of an issue preventing the Site Overlay report from functioning
properly.
We're working urgently on a fix. In the meantime thanks for bearing
with us!

Mine is fixed too, at least partly, but now when I change view to
"Goal Value" or "Goal 1/2/3" the bar underneath each link is pure
white (blank) with no click percentage or any information box when you
hover over it.

I get the same thing but at least when I have the clicks it shows the
percentages. I have a major demo to the business so hopefully it will
be completely fixed by next Friday. Thank goodness it is not this
week!!

I have just noticed that some of the percentage figures have changed!!
I have a screen grab from before the problems, that shows that I have
4.4% of the clicks going to a link. I have just done it again to do
further work and it shows 0% and when I go through all the links are
showing 0% even though it is possible to get to the page using a short
URL.
I can send screen grabs if that will help or what other information is
needed. I checked the number of page views and we are talking 4000+.
What is really weird is that all the other information looks correct?

Looks like they are still working on the issue. Site Overlay is fixed
but the Goal values are missing. now displaying blank white space.
I hope they will fix it soon.
Tina,
If you can e-mail the screen shots with your Google analytics login e-
mail, profile name and website to "[email address]", they
can look into it. Normally they will respond in 1 businessday.

You are right Google must have been still working on it as all the
numbers are fine now. I wish they had warned us that there was going
to be a change rather than just doing it.

i don't know if the same problem resurfaced or it's different, but for
the same website i'm able to see the site overlay statistics on
Firefox 2, but not IE 7. And for another website that i'm able to see
the site overlay for it on both IE 7 and Firefox 2. and i'm using the
same tracking code in both sites using case statements. so i'm not
sure what kind of a problem is it?
