Same problem here. Not sure if I've placed the code incorrectly
although Analytics says its installed and visiting my site causes a
connection to google-analytics.com. Will keep an eye on it.

Yeah same problem here. Must be well overloaded. FAQ says 6 hours
before first report the check status says 12 hours, and I've been
waiting almost 20 hours. Come on Google. Yesterday the analytics site
was deadly slow, glad to see it's a little more responsive today. An I
thought if anyone could be unaffected by a shashdot it would be google
but apparently not.

Of course its not redirecting to Google. I meant the browser does a
lookup on the google-analytics.com domain and connects to it to get the
javascript.

I've been waiting almost 36 hours. Nothing. Time outs on pages
yesterday. Quite a few dead links on various pages as well. Surely
someone would have tested basic buttons such as "Home" and "features."
