Well, let's just get past the fact that the system is not working for
the moment. The teaser for this application made mention to a "site
overlay" functionality which is something I am very eager to
investigate.

However, I don't see that report listed in my administration tools
where is should be (Content Optimization > Navigational Analysis > Site
Overlay). Anyone know where it went?

It looks like Google has removed the option for the moment. I know it
was there last night because I tested it (with no data), and noticed
that it did weird things with my site layout. Now, I can't find the
option again.

Site overlay has been removed... it would have been one of the major
data collecting roadblocks for sites that are have large collections of
links. Let's see if that one comes back or if it becomes a "fee for
use" option.

i was really looking forward to the overlay stats, but now its gone

Yea, I just was looking for it going, "I know I saw it there yesterday,
WTF?" I guess this answers the question. It would have been nice if
Google left the link in but put up some sort of message so people like
me didn't think they were crazy.

Well, the overlay stats, as I saw them, are popup boxes on any and all
hyperlinks on a page giving traffic/click through rates for each. Quite
amazing if you have a few hundred links on a page.
