Hi All,

Bit short on notice but on Thursday 1th of March starting from 16.00 there will be a free Tech Meeting with beer and pizza at the Dutchworks HQ. Why i'm telling this here? I will personally have a talk about the Javascript engine we have build the past couple of months for a CvE (College voor Examens) www.cve.nl so it might be interesting ;-)

Sounds very interesting! What sets this particular JavaScript engine apart from its contemporaries, like SpiderMonkey and V8?

Haha, yes i think some more explanation is needed:

Its an QTI / XML processing engine written in Javascript. So actually it is rendering an XML-document (QTI Question and Test Interoperability standard) into the browser using HTML5, SVG CSS and Javascript.

QTI is an XML standard developed by different educational partners to make it possible to have a common standard. We are developing a delivery engine together with CITO and DUO, were Dutchworks is responsible for the end-user frontend (the part were the students will be looking at performing tests and exams)
