Hi Prashant,

You need to provide a handler in Apache (where AMF also installed) for your application.

Thanks

Hi,

I have deployed the application in tomcat.
Now I have configured apache to forward the incoming requests to the tomcat.
I have installed a filter between apache and tomcat.
This filter has to take the request from apache and forward to tomcat.
That is all the requests coming from outside must pass through the filter. What needs to be done.

Can anyone suggest me whether the procedure i have followed is right....

Thanks,
Prashanth

Hi,

Apache has been currently configured to forward connections to the tomcat instance of the webapp using mod_jk.The web-application is working fine when we give IP in browser and running.

This is wat i have added in httpd.conf File:

PerlSetEnv AMFMobileHome /home/pbasavaraju/Apache2-ApacheMobileFilter-3.52
PerlSetEnv ServerMemCached localhost:11211
PerlTransHandler +Apache2::AMFWURFLFilterMemcached

Now I am not clear whether the filter that i have installed in Apache is working properly or not. Which logs should I check to confirm whether filter is working or not?

Thanks

Yes,
you have installeds correctly AMF now for example you need to tell to mod_jk which capability you want to pass to tomcat, for example add in httpd.conf this directive:

JkEnvVar AMF_MAX_IMAGE_HEIGHT undefined

and create jsp into your webeapp with this code:

request.getAttribute("AMF_MAX_IMAGE_HEIGHT")

in you jsp you will see the value of this capability.

that's all
Idel
