A.C.T. believes in electing better leaders.

We've also been committed to discovering the sources of the lies that were used to mislead our nation and others into the false war in Iraq and bring these war criminals to justice. This has been a major project of ours.

A shocking fact, we think,   is getting to the source of who was behind these lies that rushed us to war in Iraq. This can be found in our summary of info at:

Our basic tactis for social and political actions are simple: See our:  Five (5) Part Patriot Plan.

Part of that plan is to  also advocate actions we can do ourselves, without having to convince out political leaders to do what we want,  by citizens directly using the direct-action Constitutional tools of impeachment, recall, referendum and initiative.  We believe there is always something that can be done directly, by ourselves, to improve ourselves, improve our relationships, our communities, our politics. We don't believe in cynicism; we don't believe in violence as a tool for social change.

As a ‘last word,’ for what we’re about, specifically, Re: Electing Better Leaders, at this time we continue with a  consistent, ongoing objective to:

Defeat  Republicans!

We feel it is important to not just to defeat the Republican Party this year,  but to defeat them so emphatically, so completely that it will ’send a signal,’ to future political leaders to never try to mislead and damage our nation in this way again; the way the Republican, Bush White House and Administration had been able to do for a nightmare eight years.

We sees no greater evil for a political group than to deliberately mislead a nation into wars based on lies, based on deliberate use of false intel, based on a steady drumbeat of deception and propaganda, divisiveness and hate.

A.C.T. doesn’t want  the history of these times to be the  corrupt and evil policies of George Bush and his neocon cohorts. We resisted and opposed all his policies that violated our Constitution, democratic principles and procedures. We resist this groups ongoing attempts to ‘rewrite history,’ as if all their actions were just and they did no wrong.

Instead we want to see more real victories for the America, like the wise and hard won victory of the tens of millions of people who voted for real change and reform, who voted for President Barack Obama.

Victories for our people who were able to  see through the lies, and will continue to use the tools of democracy to overcome and change the harmful and destructive policies of the Bush bad year and firmly defeat the warmongering Republicans, the neocon Zionist extremist and Wall St., superrich, corporate special interest.

 If we don’t continue to fight to overcome these real evil forces of warmongering and greed, they will return even worse than before. And, in truth, those who would mislead us in this fascist direction are still here, still alive, and planning their resurgence.

We almost lost it all: our democracy, our civil liberties, our Constitutional procedures and protections, our industries, our standard of living, our ideals, our status and positive influence in the world. All almost made extinct by the Bush era abuses of power. All continue to be threatened.

We want to and need to continue to vote for a  better nation, justice, peace, strength, a good quality of life, and the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our children; just like the Preamble to our Constitution says.
