I agree with Chris. I pay out of state tuition and I am not allowed to
bring my two parents and sister to my graduation. I give more than
enough money to this university and now I am being charged to
graduate. Glad I don't feel like I am getting ripped off for finally
making the best achievement in my life and can't even have my family

I agree with Chris. I know people who had their graduations at proper
venue's, not just a classroom. Additionally, $12 per ticket seems
somewhat steep, especially since there is not much as to
accountability regarding where this money is going. I'll try to find

Check out the SAE Club ([link]). Its
formula racing not regular/general automotive, but it seems to be the
best thing at the school. I'm not in the club, but I think the only
thing the department provides is the shop space, the rest comes from
industry grants.

idea but it doesn't cost anything to vote. just send an email with a
link to a page that has a poll. add it to the ame website. this really
isn't hard to do. you could even do it the old fashioned way with a

I love this idea! As most people have experienced, at times it can be
difficult to find a room to meet as a group for homework or
discussions. I'm absolutely in support of using this room as a new
area to do just that.

Adjunct professors do not come to the UofA to earn money. I'm sure
Engineers in industry earn much more money than Engineers in
academia. Adjunct professors teach because the like teaching. For

sign off on this with that in mind. Adjunct comes from industry. In
the past, industry paid, and in part still does (Soebel) for adjunct

to be made for transferring students. Just because you may have proven
yourself in another university (of ranking much higher), according to
UA you do not qualify for their rules. Thus they impose stuff because
