There is talk here:

of using Ambition as the first-class SQL creation tool in DataMapper
and integrating it into DM as closely as possible.
It is mentioned on the Ambition website that a DM adapter is in the
works. Who is doing this and/or is there another group?

I think the DM adapter has stalled. Anyone is welcome to pick up the
torch, though. You can probably abstract a lot of the ActiveRecord
adapter into something generic that both can use.
