Using Amarino to control my home electric appliances

Hi


Is it possible to control (ON/OFF) my home electric home appliances using amarino and android based handset.
What will I need in this project??

yes it is…. but you need a microcontroller that it's on off is --5V and an inverter dc to ac to handle the electric home appliances if you are talking about ac appliances

This is feasible.  High voltage AC currents commonly found in the home are lethal if mishandled and should only be dealt with by trained professionals.  Relays are commonly used in circuits where a logic-level DC current controls a much stronger AC current.  Also I believe triacs can do this.  It's safe to guess you're not an electrician yourself, because otherwise you'd already know about relays and triacs.  Always ask a certified, professional electrician first about how to research the proper electrical codes to build your project.  In the worst case you may have a little more foot-work to learn how to do that research, but there's a chance electricians will offer direct advice and save you the research.  Therefore view this project as an opportunity to become acquainted with an electrician in your area.

i am electronic engineer and i have done too many project like this. especially i did android app to control whole room ac. if you research how to... you will find many examples... everything you need i'm here.
