A letter arrived on the desk on the manager here (Magnet Tools UK) re
an error of nomenclature that has been made by the skeptics re
Ranger-Tell, who is known by at least one staffer here.

Dear sir(s)
It has come to our attention that for some time now postings on some
usenet groups have been erroneously referring to a Vincent Blanes as
owner and manager of Ranger-Tell Long Range Locators.
In view of the legal statutes that state without reserve that person or
persons that are not titled as the owners or administrators of private
and public concerns according to the charters of the concerns
themselves and government departments, and are not held by said
concerns to be owners or administrators, cannot be claimed as such by
any self or organisation despite their being no reason for this
behavior to cease, we retract any statement on forums or newsgroups
that may have made this error of identity.
We have since placed the culpable officer on probation and have been
monitoring his work. His extension of service will be reviewed next
year.
I trust you understand that we did not concede to this error by
deliberate means and hope you will accept our sincerest apology.
It is apparent that the owner/sole manufacture/operator of the
Ranger-Tell company (notwithstanding any comment re quality of
merchandise) is Mr G. Brook (according to the records of the
Government offices). This fact is also clearly referred to on the fron
page of the company's site. A violation of this nature in view of the
comments made is serious and in the realms of libellous defmation. We
have no wish or intention to contravene the laws of ownership of
property, intellectual or otherwise.
Compliments of the Season to You and Yours.
Sincerely,
Walter P. Grant
