Hi Music Fans,
I will be performing with mandolinist Neil Gladd in two upcoming concerts that will be a mix of Christmas and non-Christmas music. The Dec. 8 concert has not made it yet to my woefully neglected website, but if you check altodiva.com late tomorrow morning, I should not only have that info posted, but a wealth of new information about an exciting lineup of concerts for 2008.
Here are the details:
Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 7:30 PM
Concert by Curtain Call Productions
Takoma Theatre
6833 4th Street NW, Washington, DC
Many performers in many genres (pop, folk, etc.), including:
Neil Gladd, mandolin
Marjorie Bunday, mezzo-soprano
Neil and I will do mandolin and mezzo pieces at the end of the first half, and Neil will play solo mandolin works at the beginning of the second half. The program includes works by W.A. Mozart, Clara Lyle Boone, Neil Gladd, and three Christmas carols. I have no idea what other performers or genres are on the program.
Tickets are $15 advance (sorry, I have no phone number) or $20 at the door.
I do have 4 comp tickets available for this, so please let me know by Friday night if you would like one!
