Hey everyone,

We may have run out of options for where we can have our workshops for
this year's conference. It really is quite an emergency since if we
don't have any place to host the workshops we'll need to cancel them. :
(

If anyone's got any ideas, throw 'em out!

Perhaps we can use the same space at Seattle Center that Charlie used for OANW?

Charlie, do you have any idea how much that would cost for a day for 3
rooms?  Is that what we need?  Three rooms?

I have no idea if either of these places would be big enough
to accommodate the needs, but they're worth looking into.

I'll check on the facilities in my building on the Microsoft main campus.
My group runs training classes for Microsoft so we've got several classrooms
in our building.  I don't know if they'll be empty that day, though.  I'll
get back to you.

Another place to check out is Overlake Hospital. When I looked
into it a few years ago their rooms were a bargain. Also,
Bellevue Community College will rent you space if it doesn't
conflict with class schedules.

As strange as it may sound, some larger churches also have multiple rooms that they may rent out.

I've been coming up empty going through DPE. Commons is a possibility though

to do something like this workshop at another time in the future. Thanks for

Glenn: Should it just be titled "ViewModel"? How about something fancier
sounding like, "Presentation Patterns?" I penciled in "ViewModel" anyway,
check it out: http://altnetseattle.pbworks.com/workshops. Let me know if you
want to change the scheduled time or have an abstract or session description
you'd like to put up (or you can do it yourself.)

At this point, we have 6 confirmed sessions, so only need 3 rooms. I never
heard back from Arlo, so am assuming he's out. I also added a description
for our TDD workshop. Maybe the other room could be used for some kind of
informal coding dojo style thing.

Who is in charge of coffee at this conference? Are we going to have coffee
and water/drinks at the workshops?
