*LE TGM A EL AOUINA*

Cette photo de la gare d'El Aouina (merci à Skander qui a pensé à moi en la
voyant) a été prise en 1958, probablement par un militaire, quelques temps
avant la disparition de cette ligne peu rentable et surtout génante qui
traversait une partie de Tunis et la totalité de La Marsa. Pour ceux qui ne
l'ont pas connu et plus particulièrement pour Mohamed Gharbi qui partage ma
passion pour le TGM, la gare est dans le rond jaune sur la carte et si la
route de Tunis à La Marsa en bleu s'est élargie, à gauche, c'est toujours la
route de l'Ariana  et à droite en biais, la route de Keireddine.

Et pour ceux qui veulent voir le TGM d'un peu plus près, il suffit de
cliquer dessus.

Et quand je dis que Mohamed Gharbi partage la même passion que moi, je le
prouve avec cette photo qu'il vient de m'envoyer du TGM quittant le terminus
de La Marsa.

The 4 line 32 km Métro Léger de Tunis opened in 1985. Although
sometimes referred
to by locals<http://www.itunisie.com/tourisme/infos.cgi?page=transport&lg=en>as
the "light subway", the metro is completely above ground. Aside from
Cairo, it is the only metro system on the African continent. This may change
with the recent go aheads for subways in Algiers and Casablanca.
