There was a feature on the Hogbottom show in the May issue and a
review of the Shadowville Speedway in this month's issue, so there was
plenty enough Will Dockery content in those already. The column will
return in the July issue, next week.
Interestingly (to me, anyway) back in 1998 I actually wrote two
columns a month for PG. It began when my friend Mark Coile died and I
continued his Artrageous column for a few months, covering artist
events around town (a lot of wine and cheese in those days!) and that
eventually evolved into the To The Magic Store column that I still
write today. The other column was Queenie & Alphonse, written with
Lisa Scarborough, which was us going back and forth, sort of like
(actually was, I seem to remember) an instant message call and
response type thing, commenting on local happenings of interest to us.
I have stacks of those back issues, and someday I want to scan them...
I'll let you know when I do.
Anyway, I'll post a link to the July column, which will be out in a
week or so.

Which has been the main focus of the column from the start... notes on
upcoming and past poetry readings, art shows, entertainment of various
kinds, mainly where creative people can have a venue to have their
work, performance, whatever, seen by others.
Yes, very much the purpose I see Usenet serving, in an alternate way,
though when I began the column in 1998 I had no idea Usenet existed.
