neti pot update

i started in march to use a neti pot daily to alleviate some kind of
nasal issue that was giving me a bad taste in my mouth. within a few
days the bad taste was gone. i decided to continue my daily use to see
if it had any affect on the allergies i've had each spring/summer for
the past 4 or 5 yrs.
allergy sufferers in my office and neighbourhood started complaining
about 2 weeks ago about suffering. i had a few days last week with
froggy voice and sinus headache. i upped my net pot use to twice a
day. a couple of days last week i also broke down and took
antihistimines. now while others are suffering, i'm doing pretty well.
i know it's early in the season and i'm not sure exactly what i'm
allergic to but by this time in previous years i was well into daily
claritin, which i continued to take till first frost in the fall.
we'll see how this goes as the summer progresses and various trees and
flowers come into bloom.
i'm trying not to be a zealot, but i've started to tell my friends who
are suffering.
