While openly available, yoga is rooted in Hindu scripture, teaches Hindu
practices and leads to oneness with God. Practice with caution!

just to stir the pot,....
Yoga is an immensly practical science. Practice gives rise to
experience; mental consideration of such experience gives rise to
theory and philosphy;
theories are further tested with repeated and variation of practice;
and theory/philosophy is modified to align with practice and
experience.
Thus Hindu Scripture is rooted in Yoga. Hinduism is the cart, not the
horse.
You can take the Hinduism out of Yoga but you can’t take the yoga out
of Hinduism. The practices of yoga work.
whether or not they are connected to the various beliefs of Hinduism.
On the other hand Hinduism is an empty shell without yoga.
Yoga gives the practical realization of the tenents of Hinduism.

Hinduism the horse, cart and the path.

If by Hinduism you mean the natural prediliction of human beings to
disperse the occlusions of ignorance, peer into and experience reality
as it IS, then sure.
but in that case, all us humans are hindus and the term becomes
relatively meaningless.
If by Hinduism you mean that religion, then no, yoga is the action,
the karma, and hinduism is one of the fruits, karmaphala, of that
action.
