Coinciding with the largest number of sexual assaults committed by American military personnel on females in the military, the largest number of criminal acts committed against civilians and prisoners by U.S. personnel in wartime, the
largest number of suicides in American military history, an unprecedented effort to legalize open homosexuality in both rank and command, and the overt effort by commercialized Christian evangelists to dictate U.S. military religious policy
is the greatest shortage of military chaplains since the creation of the U.S. military.
Should a Conference of Conscience meeting comprising military chaplains of all branches be convened to discuss, debate and resolve the above matters for the purpose of establishing a new approach that will enable the Chaplain Corps of all
branches to enter more military lives to greatly reduce the number of personal moral lapses and increase the level of personal obligation to religious values that discourages malevolent behaviour and encourages high moral conduct?
