I just reviewed the previous 2K+ articles, and I see this
was asked a few times but not completely answered:

Is there already software that lets one daisy-chain SLIP?

I have a modem on COM2, and a free COM1 here in the lab. In
another room I have a PC with a free COM1. I have downloaded (but
not tried) Core Internet-Connect, and it looks like it would
do the job but it would be overkill. And besides, I have
Trumpet Winsock working fine, it'd be a shame to mess it all up.

The second PC doesn't need its own IP address-- no one would need
to telnet or ftp TO it from anywhere. It could share the IP
of the modem-connected-PC, couldn't it? Just a simple winsock-
compatible packet-passer is all I'm looking for.

Thanks for any info.
Marc.
