I'm currently running Vista (32bit) and have no problems (that I am
aware of!).
I can successfully connect to the internet and my girlfriends laptop
via my wireless connection.
However, when I run netstat via the CLI, it repeatedly reports:
x: Windows Sockets initialization failed: 5
x: Windows Sockets initialization failed: 5
x: Windows Sockets initialization failed: 5
x: Windows Sockets initialization failed: 5
Any ideas what might be wrong or how to fix, the Microsoft site
suggests resetting the TCP/IP by using netsh int ip reset, but I am
unsure if this is the right thing to do (as usual the Microsoft
Knowledge Forums are not the easiest things to understand)
Thanks in advance,
Michael
