How do I recover data off old Zip drives?
I'm trying to restore some data I saved on 4 Zip drives. It's from an old PC I'm going to retire that is getting very unreliable. I thought I ran the Backup correctly and saved the data on the Zip drives but maybe not. When i run the Restore, the software keeps asking me to insert the last disk from the backup. I must have lost it or copied over it... more »

Error message
Dear all, The following message now appears during boot up: Floppy disks(s) fail (40) CMOS checksum error - Defaults loaded. I press F1 to continue and sometimes, but not always the clock and date resets back to the 1990's, so that needs resetting. Could it be the battery on the motherboard. Other than that I'm lost.... more »
