I have one of those LG cell phones that has the picture feature.... When I
take a picture, I send it to my own email address since none of my friends
has a camera that has the same capability. This way, I just forward my
email to them. I have had no problems up until the last couple of days and
I've called Verizon and they said something must have changed on my
Windows98SE .... As far as I know, I haven't changed anything but here is
what pops up: "IE5\JB5F750W
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in My Computer by clicking View and then
clicking Folder Options."...
I did that and I still get the same message because I apparently am not
filling in the required information.... The description on the attachment
says jpg..... I don't know if any of this makes any sense to anyone but
it's the best I can do to try to describe my dilemma. Prior to this week, I
could just click on the attachment and I would be in business... Now, all I
see in the body of the email is a thumbnail picture and then that message
when I try to open the attachment.... OK, I'm through rambling for the
moment.
.... Vi

If a problem is less than 5 days old in win98 then restart the system
repeatedly pressing the F8 key and choose Command prompt only Dos or
restart in Msdos mode and type scanreg/restore and try an older
reg(cab file)backup, however you may have to re-install some programs
and user changes if they were installed after this date.
You can type just scanreg and say,"Yes" if you want to make a fresh
registry back up.
You can then also type
scanreg/fix and then scanreg/opt to fix and compact the registry. You
can type win or exit from Msdos mode to get back to windows.
You can use the free WRP program off here to back up the registry as
well as it saves more files.
