Hi,

I am using XP with SP3. I have just bought a Medion NAS. I am trying
to copy files to the NAS. When I try to copy a file, I get an error
message saying:
Cannot copy (Filename): The path is to deep

The directories are NAS-Server\Video\Movies

How is that path to deep???

Help please.

TIA

The path and filename of the source has to be considered, as well as
the path and filename of the destination.

You only listed one of the four parts above.

I vaguely recall a limitation of 255 characters total allowed. It
helps if you can keep the folder names small.
