Dear all,
I am responsible for the operation of a greek wastewater treatment
plant and recently a dairy plant asked to connect to my drainage
system. I would greatly appreciate your suggestions on the necessary
tests to ask (BOD, TSS, TKN, TP, fats ??) as well as to warn me of any
problems that this connection may cause. The dairy wastewater quantity
is 3,7m3/d, which would be the 1/10 of the total sewage influent to my
plant.

Thank you

If I remember a package plant we had with dairy discharge, we had to
add lime to adjust the pH. Might want to look at what pH is in their
discharge.
