Sorry if this sounds stupid but its bloody annoying, I have been downloading
for a while now and most of the mp3's I download are just names 01.mp3,
02.mp3 and etc, this is annoying as i may want a song do a search and cant
find it without trawling through all the albulm covers.

I know you can get programs to change the tags/names ect but i downloaded
some and they were rubbish and changed all the songs to completely different
names, what is a good proggie that will do this really easily - like in
just a few secs, I have so many folders now

Thanks for any help

Becky

I know it`s so annoying track 1, track 2 etc.. ok if you download 1 or 2 but
when you download a few, some get overwritten or simply you forget what they
are and sooner or later you have hundreds of track 1,2,3 etc etc...why can`t
they simply name them save us all a load of time etc...anyway come and visit
us at http://musicbrainz.org/ join up(free) and use our tagger it may be
able to help.

Many non UK newsgroups also post at higher bitrates or VBR as well.
Too many files on UK groups are at 128.
