Since few of us watch MSNBC, we need to get this sent around to our
friends so MSNBC will know what people really think of him. Otherwise,
they will report everyone is happy. VOTE and send it on to your friends.

MSNBC has a live poll to grade Obama's performance as President, and
we need to get some conservative voices showing up in the results! Here
is the site:

Hi, Bill P. & Dog. I don't think that anyone has to worry about a
self-serving poll, which no one will read about anyway. They just want
attention, which they are not getting, and it's probably not fair to rate
anyone, at this early stage of their incumbency.

Indeed. He's just been elected, for heaven's sakes. Mind you, Americans
are known for wanting fast cars, fast food, fast money, fast results.

The mind boggles.

PS: I recently returned from a couple month stay in the US, and people
seemed to be generally favourable towards Obama, including (former)
Republicans.

I'll give him a B+. I'd give him and A if he'd cut back on the
spending a bit, and raise revenues to pay as we go. I don't like the
idea that we have our grandchildren pay for our excesses.

I agree Tom. Unfortunately, I think that raising taxes now - although
politically unpopular - is going to help lessen the load for our
grandchildren. Why should *they* pay for the sins of *our* time?

The mistakes he is making now will take many years to correct.

Sure he is making mistakes, he is human. I would say the mistakes
Bush made will take many years to correct. Correcting some of the
mistakes is like a no win situation. For instance Gitmo, but we are
headed in the right direction, IMHO.

Well, I can see your being upset, if you thought he could walk on
water. I don't remember him ever making such a claim. I know he made
pledges that are pie in the sky, but on the whole, I think he makes
good decisions.

even my conservative self agrees that he's only been there 3 months and
change....and the other "change" will take time. I can see him at some
point admitting what pieces of shit the democraps have in Congress (and yeah
there are repugnican POS there as well) <G>
