'misstatements' concerning his (non-existent) Vietnam military
service. The staged press conference featured a handful of Marine vets
ostensibly lending their support.
An eagle-eyed observer just sent us this photo with the caption:
"Look carefully at the face of the man on the right. Now compare that
face to this man."
This is William Joseph Trumpower (AKA Eliot Storm), a man listed on
POW Network's Phony Vets Database.
Trumpower, like Blumenthal, is a Connecticut resident and has made
quite a name for himself hawking books on the Vietnam experience. The
'POW Networks Phony' database lists Trumpower's bogus credentials as
follows:
CLAIMING BRONZE STAR w/VALOR device... Claims 2nd Lt, Claims... Wears
3 Purple Hearts, 2 Bronze Stars w/V. The jacket in EARLIER pictures
boasted 8 ribbons. This NEW pic has more and includes V device on
Bronze Star and 2nd Lt bars...
It's entirely fitting if the staged Blumenthal apology was, as our
anonymous contributor asserts, accompanied by another puffed-up
bloviator.

Got that?? Blumenthal was apologizing for lying about being a Vietnam
vet -- he is not -- but on the stage with him is a busted phony who
ALSO claimed to have been a Vietnam vet.

Blumenthal is a Vietnam Era vet by reason of having been in the Marine Corp
Reserve during the Vietnam War. He received 5 deferments from active service
where he might have achieved the status of Vietnam Veteran for having
actually
served in Vietnam. His comments on his 'Vietnam' service were structured to
lead people to believe he had served there.
There is an old saying in Connecticut, "Never get between Dick Blumenthal
and a TV camera unless you want to get trampled."

I do believe one of the phonies is "Mark".
So far he hasn't proven any of his claims.
But he is sure good at spewing forth his accusations.
Unfortunately, he is a complete failure in providing any proof of his
accusations....
I wonder if his mind might clear if he upped the flow of oxygen from 2
lpm to 3-or-4 lpm ????
As it is, his pet gerbil is using his tinfoil helmet to hold those red
M&M's and those super-ultra-secret messages from Vega are being
funneled through AREA51 directly to "Mark".
Any day now they will come for him and probably implant that crystal
which will feed him a daily dose of fervant accusations to spew forth
to enhance his self-image from pathetic to pitiful.
