Thank you.

IMHO we all have a *duty* to be whistleblowers when our government
so clearly takes away our ability to be a democracy.

Both of these men are American Heroes...risked much for us all!

More like our freedom and lack of repression in America has led
to allowing two nut-jobs and otherwise sociopaths in the making
to find their way into the heart of our intelligence communities.

Like Snowden keeps saying, he could have done just about
anything he wanted to, at any time at all. If Big Brother can't
watch itself, why should we be so afraid?

redvet: No Jonathan...'they' were recruited by those intelligence
communities. The problem, and I'm surprised it got by someone as savvy
as you claim to be on all matters, was the older intell employees were
just not on board with the new techy requirements. The younger tech
workers were raised in the 'one world' environment of gamers, the
internet and 'geekyness'. They also were raised in the ethos that
coupled those ideals with the realization an economic system build on
greed no longer functions. This has caused an entire generation to be
more supportive of the whole, rather than their selfish little corner.

Now, ideally, the old hands of intell would have prefered to hire 35
year olds who the system had an opportunity to further process. Sadly
for them, they couldn't wait. Expect more Snowdens...and drone pilots.
Enjoy!

Looks like more government non-efficiency.
