well Guantanamo ain't closing anytime soon but let's hope he gets the
Taliban brig shut down. then the detractors will have to find a
different platform to rail about him from...perhaps the birthers will
get big again.

I am not sure, but I assume the repugs are blocking all attempts to close Gitmo for their political advantage. Wouldn't it be nice if they thought of the country first for a change. The Democrats are marginally better and owned by the same brothers.

Yep, lying, coning, using the IRS to attack political opponents,
stealing information from reporters, using the IRS to provide secret
information to groups in favor of the campaign, soliciting money from
anyone (after you promised not to do it) - if that is what it means to
win an election in the USA all I have left to say are two words:

Banana Republic.
