Hi all,
got 2 questions...
1) Is it possible to delay the Finger printing (FP) process (once
after issued a FP notice from INS)? Any repercussions other than
losing timing for GC approval.
2) Is is possible to add a spouse in the Green Card process (thru'
485) once after the primary applicant has done the FP (assuming GC is
not yet approved)? Is there any repercussions for doing this?

thanks, all

You can call the INS office, but I don't recommend it. The problem isn't
so much lost time but that any deviation from the standard procedure
carries the risk that INS will mess up something in your case.

Yes. You can file an I-485 for a spouse at any time after your I-485 is
filed (even after your I-485 is approved; in that case, it would be
considered a follow-to-join case). The only repercussion of doing so is
that if you just got married, INS may look at your and her case more
closely, suspecting fraud.
