  <title type="text">Name change on permanent resident card required after remarriage?</title>

The I-130 is for AFTER you get married. &lt;br&gt; The choice is yours, but I would not file both. &lt;br&gt; If you get married in the US and THEN file you might run into many &lt;br&gt; difficulties. Many have done it, but I wouldn&#39;t take the chance.
