do I need to list and include all of my accounts? I have an account here
in Ireland, and have some other sources of money; I don't need them to
meet the requirement, and I'd rather not include everything. My husband
also has a house and accounts - I know that I can use his assets as well
since we've been married, living together for over 6 months, but if I
use some of his information, do I have to gather all of it?

difficult to obtain, so I'm hoping if we meet (and exceed) the
requirements it's not necessary.

Hi:

As a general rule, sufficiency and not completeness is necessary for
affidavit purposes. If you want, you can put in a statement noting that
this is a partial listing.

I thought I had figured out the I-134, but now I'm not sure....

I am
using the equity in my house to meet the requirement, because I just
opened a new business. I have information from my bank and my mutual
funds, but I was wondering - do I need to list and include all of my
accounts? I have an account here in Ireland, and have some other sources
of money; I don't need them to meet the requirement, and I'd rather not
include everything. My husband also has a house and accounts - I know
that I can use his assets as well since we've been married, living
together for over 6 months, but if I use some of his information, do I
have to gather all of it?

We also have a co-sponsor (just in case) and
I told him he didn't have to get information on his house together since
he has more than enough in stocks. But now I'm not sure - a complete
financial picture would be difficult to obtain, so I'm hoping if we meet
(and exceed) the requirements it's not necessary.

Does anyone know?

A lot depends on what embassy you are going through.

Don't rely on
advice on the forum!!!

Call your embassy and ask them exactly what
they want.

Very relieved! I'll include a statement
like that. And I will ask our embassy here, but I doubt they'll be able
to tell me. They don't let you talk to a ConOff and they're the only
ones who know anything.

I didn't
include everything. It wasn't on purpose, I just forgot to photcopy
the information on my new house (which dramatically decreased the
amount in my mutual funds, this was reflected in the statements I
sent). They didn't say anything in Dublin. The primary thing the
woman looked at was the letter from my employer with my current income
although she initially gave Anthony a hard time about my last three
years worth of income tax not being high enough. In the end my current
income was what was important. I know that you are relying on assets
but I think as long as you have enough to show that you meet the
requirements Dublin didn't seem to be too concerned that you were
showing everything. I don't know if there is a difference beacuse we
went for the K-1 or not. I was more thourogh with the I-864 however.
Overall I think Dublin was pretty reasonable from what Anto said.

Good
luck!!!

PS Is the postal service up and running again? Keep
your eyes out for that Packet 3 :):)

Oh good!!! I'm going to show a lot just not everything. And my father
(potential cosponsor if they give me a hard time about the house)
doesn't want to give out info about his house when he has plenty in
assets (stocks).

Postal strike unfortunately is not resolved yet.
And worse - it's not even really a strike yet... not one is working
though, but because it's not an official strike, they haven't formally
negotiated yet. I'll walk down there and pick up Packet 3 if I have
to!!!
