EXPIRATION OF EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Hi everyone,
My husband and I got married last september 99 and that's also when I
received my temporary work authorization -- valid ony for a year: I have
been working for almost a year now. September is coming up and I would like
to know what I can do since we still haven't heard at all from the INS
concerning our interview. Is it possible to extend my temporary work
authorization??? Can someone tell me more about that process? How long
before the expiration date should I do that?? (Our file is depending from
the San Francisco INS offices).

SF gives the EAD on a walk-in basis, I think. Just take your completed
I-765 form and another $100 and your old EAD, plus proof of identity and
go there and get it, that's all you have to do. Same thing you did the
first time, by the way, same price, same form, everything.
