This guy really is caught in a time-warp.
As some of you may have seen I put up a post looking for Rockford Files
episodes.
Here is the response I got from him.

"Hi,
I can put either 2 episodes on VHS or DVD...DVD with shipping is
$40.00 each...VHS with shipping is $30.00 each."

Are you f*cking kidding me!
Get a clue and a job dude!

That's not the point John.
It's that this guy is totally clueless and still thinks he is living in a
time when blank tapes cost $15.00
You don't agree that these prices are laughable??

I'm forced to agree - with blank tapes at one dollar
and a bit, and I'll sell a copy of any dvd with the
menu system and all extras and postage and packing
for maybe $6 then a tape with 2 episodes for what PP
wants is WAY out of line.

You're both right, but if we keep talking about him, he'll never go
away...like a scab. If he's bothering you that much, block him and go on
with life. Which is way too short by the way.

I believe he knows exactly what he is doing.
Instead of me running 100 dvd-r's to make $ 50 on one deal I would
rather sell two and make the same money.

Yes I do and I have stated so. He had some stuff I wanted and I did
not pay the price for them.

And yet I believe you sent him upgrades on things he had and you STILL
didn't get the things you wanted from him? Good grief.

Yes, I sent him something unsolicited and got nothing in return.
Giving a gift is a reward unto itself.

Sorry for the top post, but has ANYBODY actually paid Piperpost's prices
for his tapes? I'm just curious.

John, you never lose the faith, ur my hero.

I am amazed at the number of times I send a tape or dvd to someone totally for
free, and I don't even get a thank you via email in return, which would have
cost nothing to send.

Wow... this Piper boy is quite amazing..

Disab...@webtv.net

that is the ONLY ... I REPEAT ONLY posting that Disab...@webtv.net
has ever... ever done on the usenet.

And once again... that FIRST EVER POST is in defence of Piper boy.

Doesn't that seem just a little odd.. that someone ... in their first
experience ever on the usenet would be a post in defence of Piper boy?

In a word.... yeah right.

If those Rockford Files were original NBC airings with original ads I
think $30 is too CHEAP for something like that. I think I would pay
something like $50-100 for Rockford form NBC's original run with ads.
If you dont like what Piperpost has to offer, then go to someone else,
its as simple as that. But if Piperpost is the ONLY person who has the
material your looking for and your not willing to pay for it, then too
bad for you!!!

Well he never said that they were taken from original broadcasts or that
they had the original commercials so I doubt that they do.
I can't believe a bootlegging and pirating expert like Piperdork wouldn't
know to mention something as important as that.

I'm seriously considering it for the Renegades pilot. It seems he's the
only one that replies when I ask for eps of it on the board.
