For some unusual reason, NWCN digital on C4 apparently has wrong
virtual table info for tunning it in. The opposite polarity channels
work just fine. And yes, this 920 receiver works fine in all other
respects....but same polarity channels don't show up there.

There was a method to reset (erase, whatever) or reload these virtual
channels assignments while on G1-03, of course.

If I recall, maybe one went into Opt-6-0-5 menu area, and on one of
the sub-menus touched zero button to reset.

Hence, other than a Master Reset, anyone recall if there is a way to
reload Virtual Map?

Yes, TDT is below 1920, and I let it sit overnight on G1-03 with unit
turned off, and G1-03 tuned in.

thx

A 920 doesn't always automatically load new maps. Unplug it for a few
minutes and then load the maps on G1-03 or other premium movie channel.

Nothing new about a model 920 not autoloading channel maps.*EVERY* time
there is a new satellite reassignment or a channel change I HAVE to
unplug the receiver for 5 minutes (on G1-3 of course and ALWAYS [!]
unplug the receiver in the power off condition]),replug and go through
the "WARM UP" protocol and wait 30 minutes for a reload of the virtual
channel tables and other guide information.
The new satellite assignments and maps have always shown up,but having
to do this all the time is kind of a pain where the sun does not shine.

You are trying to get C4-581 NWCN it comes in very strong here in WA.
I had to do a master reset to get all of the updated maps of all of
the satellites to program in correctly. My 920 had not been used for
about the past 4 years and very few channels came in before I did the
master reset. Before doing that I tried the soft reboot while on G1-3
and had no success.

Let me know if this helps you

Yes, doing the unplug/replugin with unit turned off on G1-03 still
works. As noted, this receiver was not being used, except for T4 for
several years.
