I just wanted to let you know that I've been working with somebody in
Austria to get new information about the LD-V8000. He had the Pioneer
control cable fabricated for him. He said that it works great with a test
program that I believe he said he got from LDDB. I'm waiting for him to take
pictures.
He's now looking to get the Bar N' Koder software and an old Mac to run it
on. He told me he'd take pictures oncehe has that setup finalized. He told
me that Bar n' Koder for Mac has to come off the P2P network. Nobody else
has it and the download has been stuck on 13% for almost 2 months now.
Also, I purchased a file converter that takes Youtube Flash streams (*.flv)
over to a real video format - Tunebite. I converted the Don Herbert video
over to both WMV and MP4 formats. I wish somebody here had that original
promotional disc. I'd love for somebody to transfer that entire disc to a
real digital video - not that shitty YouTube Flash stream - it really sucks.
