It doesn't play PAL format discs, only NTSC format. The language of
the dialog doesn't make any difference.
If a foreign language (other than English) is encoded on the LaserDisc
that you are playing, then of course you will hear this particular
language track if you so choose to -- this is no different than DVD in
this respect. However, if the only language encoded on the LaserDisc
is English, which is the vast majority of the case, then no, you won't
be listening to any other language other than English.
I have hundreds of NTSC LaserDiscs. To my knowlege, there are only
two languages available in my collection -- most of them are English-
only. My Japanese imports have separate English and Japanese audio
tracks (or a couple have Japanese tracks only!).
