Not the ones I can turn off & on with my remote, but the standard burned on the
screen subtitles when Han & Greedo meet & when Han & Jabba meet.

There are some weird subtitles on these discs (I only checked the first
one).
There are about 3 or 4 english sub choices.
One seems to label the actors because when Lei came on the screen, it said
"Fisher".
Just keep clicking through the different options or select from the menu,
you should find them.

I haven't checked it, but I'll bet that subtitle is identifying speakers on
the commentary track, not actors on-screen.

The first subtitle track is full subtitling of all dialogue. The second is
subtitling of alien-language dialogue (e.g., Greedo, Jabba) only.

If you use the subtitle button on your remote you will find 3 sets of
English subtitles:

1 - English - subtitles all the time.
2 - English - subtitles for aliens.
5 - English - subtitles for aliens.

No, I have no idea what the difference is between 2 and 5.
