Sign EYES WIDE SHUT petition to Warner Bros. in protest
of their decision to release only the R-rated cut of the film, defying
the late master Stanley Kubrick's final cinematic vision:

> Clue
Ditto!
> The Mask of Zorro
> Gremlins
These two are already out on DVD. Check your local DVD supplier.
> Bad Boys (Remastered in DD/DTS 5.1)
> Maverick (Remastered in 5.1 DD/DTS)
I already saw these on DVD as well. Not sure if it was 5.1 though...
This information is solely from memory. Best bet it to check
http://us.imdb.com to see if they have been released yet, and sometimes it
has the future release dates as well.

The first one sucked.

Ok, I saw that the Hobbit was in production, and heard someone was
CGI'ing up another version of Lord Of the Rings, but haven't heard
of any of these making release. Apart from the old "Lord of the Rings"
unfinished animation of the 80's, it seems a bit much to ask for
these before they're made...
Or am I out of touch with all things short and hairy footed? (With
big wizards blah blah blah)...

BTF Trilogy WAS slated for june 2000, but now they pushed it back to
winter 2000. They have been pushing BTF back for 2 years now.
for more info on it goto WWW.BTTF.COM

Actually, before the original poster got carried away, he MIGHT have
been referring to the '78 Rankin-Bass version, owned by Warner (and
which, like the Bakshi LOTR is on the DVD Express Unreleased page)--
Same with the '83 RB "Return", the very mention of which sends most fans
into shuddering convulsions, but you have to list these things on the
catalogs before somebody else whines about why they're not...
And on a side note:
...Okay, now the running count's up to =12= official requests for "Clue"
on disk, and DVDE's refusal to even put it on the list--while the
less-clued of the fanboy community pour requests for "Mission to Mars"
into the mailbox and get approved in seconds--is starting to look
downright intentional:
If anyone wants to get an official petition going to petition DVD
Express into putting it ON their petitions (see what desperate
circumstances we're in, people??), that's enough material for another thread--
I'm serious, anyone in?
