I have been unhappy with later versions of Nero for a while now, and have
relunctantly decided to revert back to Nero 9.
I have installed Nero 9 along with the component Nero ShowTime 9. Before I
activate the product, ShowTime plays ALL the videos correctly. Once I
activate the product, AVI's look like they are severly compressed jpeg's,
and the overall quality is barely watchable. The sound quality remains the
same. If I uninstall and repeat the process (i.e. deactivate) AVI's play
fine again. When I reactivate, they reduce in quality again.
I cannot understand how this may be? I have checked the option playback
settings - they remain consistent in both situations.
Please could anybody offer any help into this rather fustrating situation. I
know Nero ShowTime might not be the best playback program, but since I
bought it, I'd rather be making use of it.
