Under Nero (v. 6.6.0.16), I don't see a menu for setting a virtual drive.
So I feel that F drive is not likely a virtual drive.
I might be wrong. That's why I am raising this question.

I've always disliked them on Windows. Esp back in the days when disk space
was relatively expensive.

Both E and F appeared after installing the DVD burner?
What OS are you using?
Is there also a CD drive? What is drive D?
Nero has a separate utility for that, called ImageDrive, and if you
installed it it should appear somewhere in the start menu programs list. If
it's not there, search for imagedrive.exe

Hmmm...that is puzzling. I might have had some ideas if you'd been
running Win98.
Have you looked in Device Manager to find information about this F
drive? (where it's supposed to be connected...what drivers it's
using...)
Have you had a look in XP's Computer Management section? It's under
Start / Programs / Administrative Tools / Computer Management. You
can remove drive letters there (in the same area you use to change
drive letters).

It is not Nero.
I'd had Alcohol 120 installed about 3 days before noticing the extra drive,
I also noticed going through device manager that strangely some SCSI device
drivers installed (Nothing like that on my PC)
Uninstalled it and they disappeared,I still have Nero installed so it
could'nt be Nero adding an extra drive?

That's why I excluded that F drive has nothing to do with Alcohol 120%.
I am still puzzled.
BTW, I can delete F-drive from Device Manager but it reappears when booted.

It is most definitely an Alcohol 120% virtual drive. Got one right here in
my Windoze Exploder display.
